Who’s been eating my Kongs? – Sunday 8th March 2026

Who’s been eating my Kongs?

What I want to know is who’s been eating my Kongs? If I am being strictly accurate, they are Pebbles’ Kongs and I only get to eat them all the time because she gets bored so easily. Anyway, I was being quite restrained yesterday and left half of a Kong to come back to later. It’s a tough level of Kong so takes me a couple of sessions to get through.

In the meantime, my cousin Flossie visited. I didn’t think anything of it until I went back to get the Kong for a snack. Flossie had been nibbling my Kong. Mum said she also tried to get into the dishwasher at one point, so I guess she was feeling a little peckish.

I didn’t really mind. Mum got me another one out, so I didn’t miss out.

Railway room

Plans for setting up the railway are beginning to take shape. Unfortunately it has now led to a bit of an argument. Dad has had the ‘bright idea’ of having shelving underneath the surface that the trains will run on. ‘What about me?’ was my question. That was the spot I’d chosen for my bed. There isn’t going to be room for my big bed anywhere else. I told Dad that he was getting his priorities wrong. He should be putting his beloved dog at the very front of his thoughts and my needs should be his first concern. Sadly, he seemed more interested in where he was going to put some of the bits and pieces he might need for the railway.

I went to find Mum to explain the problem. She is going to see if she can convince him to leave enough space for my bed so I can also see out through the French door windows. If he doesn’t agree, I’m just going to end up lying in his way and he’ll soon get fed up with that!

Love and licks
