An odd family thing
Here’s an odd family thing. You wouldn’t think this is genetic but I’m guessing it must be. I have a wart on the side of my face that is susceptible to bleeding. I’m going to ask the vet about it when I go to see her tomorrow. There is nothing odd about a wart – except my half-brother Salvo, developed one in exactly the same place at almost exactly the same age. We share a father and now it’s got me wondering how many more of my brothers and sisters who share the same dad have a wart like ours.
There are 26 of us full and half siblings altogether. Chilli lives in the UK but I don’t see anything of him. I think most of the others live in Switzerland. I’ll ask my sisters if they know any of them when I see them.
Staying cool
Yesterday was mostly spent indoors staying cool. Mum and I took slightly different approaches. It’s odd, but I think she would benefit from lying on the hall floor. It’s definitely the coolest place in the house. I’m hoping once all the changes have been done that it will still be as good. Now it’s quite dark so it doesn’t heat up like some of the other rooms. On the bright side it will have a tiled floor instead of carpet, so that will be a plus point.
Dog play area
The dog play area in the garden has got as far as Mum finding some pictures on the internet of what other people have done. It’s a start. Apparently we’re all going to look at them together later in the week when Dad is home to see what we think might work. I do hope they take my ideas on board as I will be one of the major users. They should see me as their ‘customer’ on this project – and we all know that the customer is always right!
