All about me
Yesterday was all about me – or at least I think it was. We started the day with a walk on my mountain. It had been sunny where we are staying before we set off, so we thought it would be on my mountain too. It wasn’t. The mountain was shrouded in mist, which gave it a very eerie quality. Mum and I love it in all it’s different moods, so we didn’t mind too much. We met Valeria for the walk, or more to the point the run. I do love having my sister there to run with. Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy walking with Mum and talking to her, but running with my sister is great too.
I was pooped by the end of the walk, so didn’t mind sitting in the car while Mum went for a coffee with my sister’s human. After that, we went past the shopping centre for Mum to buy some bread and went back for lunch. I went to bed, I was so tired from running.
Gottschalkenberg
After lunch and a good rest, Mum said we could go up to Gottschalkenberg. It’s just a bit higher up from my mountain. When the sky is clear the view over lake Zurich is just amazing. There are also a whole line of bench seats on the sheltered side of the hill, where you can sit in the warmth of the sun, which is pretty awesome.
We had talked about having a walk by Ägerisee too, but there were so many people out enjoying the sun that Mum said we’d give it a miss. To be honest, I really was quite tired so I didn’t mind at all.
Heading for home
We’re going to start the journey home later today. We’re doing it over several days and finding nice places to walk along the way – or at least that’s the plan. At least we won’t be sitting in the car for too many hours at a time.
Love
Wilma
