My mountain mural
My mountain mural will be going on the wall today. I do hope it works ok. It doesn’t look very easy. Mum has asked the builders to do it for us. She says she hasn’t done any wallpapering for over thirty years. The mural comes in six pieces. We have to make sure they go on the wall in the right order and all match up. I’m feeling quite anxious about seeing the end result and just hoping it really does look like my mountain. Obviously I’ll take a picture for you when it’s done.
Moving back into our bedroom
The other really exciting thing is that in the next few days we should be moving back into our bedroom. We moved out with the plan being we’re be back in by last Christmas. It’s only nine months later than expected. It means I can properly start to decide where I want my beds and put them in places that they don’t have to keep being moved. Mum says I mustn’t be too hasty as there is some cleaning needed first. I’m really very excited about it though. It will also make it so much easier for me to follow Mum to the bathroom when she gets up.
Weather warning
We are back on weather warnings for rain again. We’ve already had twice as much rain as we’re supposed to have in September. Mum is fed up that it is making getting on with gardening quite difficult. When we’re going to be able to cut the grass is anyone’s guess. I’ve asked if I can bring the apples in to eat as it’s not so much fun having to lie in wet grass all the time – especially when that grass is long – very long! I do hope it’s a bit drier soon.
Love
