I chose green
For my new harness I chose green. Mum took me to Qualipet yesterday and brought me three things. I chose some food to get me through to the end of the holiday. It’s exciting as it’s not diet food. Mum only bought a small bag, but it tastes so much better than my usual food. Then we bought a really big bag of the biscuits that were Alfie’s favourites and we all love. Finally, we looked at the Grossenbacher harnesses. My old one is purple and I was thinking maybe I would like a pink one. They didn’t have pink. I did tell Mum we should go to see the man who makes them and buy the colour I really wanted, but she told me I should be grateful I was having a new one and choose from the ones in front of me.
I tried to remember all the different colours we’d all had over the years so I could choose a different one. In the end I chose green. It’s nice and bright and I like it.
Altdorf
We’d had a walk on my mountain in the morning. It was raining so I didn’t stop to take any photos of me and Valeria. Mum says she still loves it there even when it’s raining.
Later in the day the weather improved so we went to somewhere we hadn’t been before. It was a lovely little town called Altdorf. Some of the buildings are quite old and are beautifully painted. It’s the capital of the canton of Uri and is about half an hour from where we’re staying. Legend has it that it was the home of William Tell and there are lots of interesting things about him around the town. Dad was more interested in reading them than I was, but I still enjoyed the visit.
Plan for today
We’re off to somewhere else we haven’t been before today. I can’t remember what it’s called. Then this afternoon we have to take Dad to the airport and wave him off. We’re really not looking forward to that bit.
Love
Wilma
