Making some changes

I’m going to be making some changes to my diary. Mum and I have been talking and we need it to take a bit less looking after than it does at the moment. I’m still going to write every day as I do now. We want you to be able to follow all of Pebbles’ progress so we’ll still be doing all that. However, not many people are using the travel pages to find pet friendly hotels. I hope you don’t mind too much but I’m going to get rid of all of those. One of the things I’ve found is that Mum won’t take me back to places often enough to make sure they are still as I found them on my first visit. She has pointed out we’d need to be on the road a lot of the time to do it, which is probably fair.

I shall try to sort some of that out over the next few days while Mum is busy with Pebbles.

Talking of Pebbles

Dad suggested we weigh Pebbles again. Last Wednesday she weighed 6.7kg. Mum was going to leave it until Wednesday this week to weigh her, but we got the scales out yesterday. No wonder Mum thinks she feels heavy – Pebbles now weighs in at an amazing 7.4kg. At this rate she will outgrow the pet carrier Mum has for her long before her final vaccinations. Mum says I needn’t worry as the other carrier is for dogs up to 15kg.

Meeting Flossie

Pebbles met our canine cousin Flossie yesterday. Everyone got on very well, but unfortunately Mum didn’t take any photos. Pebbles barked at Flossie, but not in a bad way. She really is a very confident puppy so far. When Mum was outside with Pebbles there was a bird scarer making noises like a shotgun at intervals. Pebbles was interested but not in any way fazed by it.

Mum was a bit cross with herself yesterday as trying to entertain family meant she didn’t pay enough attention to when Pebbles needed to go out, so she had a couple of toileting accidents to deal with. Pebbles is trying very hard but she is only nine and a half weeks old.
