Paws off my bed
Paws off my bed, Pebbles. Enough is enough. You keep being bought lots of nice new things and now you want my bed as well. Does it have your name on it? No, I don’t think it does. It says Alfie and Wilma. It belonged to my best buddy and me. You might be cute, but you’ll never take his place. He was my hero.
Every time Mum takes Pebbles outside they go past my bed on the way back in. When that happens Pebbles jumps straight into my bed and lies down as a heavy weight to make it difficult to move her. She says it’s so comfortable compared with where she’s sleeping. Mum says if she can sort out her toilet training then she can move on to something more comfortable. It’s just that it’s easier to wash vet bed than a big soft mattress.
A busy day
Pebbles had quite a busy day yesterday. She put her new collar on from her dad first thing in the morning when she got up. She likes it so much that she never wants to take it off. Mid morning she went out in the car with Mum. Mum is trying to get her more used to travelling. Pebbles is fine when the car is stationery but not happy when it’s moving. You can’t get far if you don’t move. They went to collect a prescription and then went to the farm shop together. By the time they got home Pebbles was exhausted and she’d only been out an hour.
Apart from playing football with Mum outside, Pebbles usually wins, they has some fun training and then Pebbles has an outing in her buggy. Mum had to find a solution to clipping Pebbles in. The clips that come as part of the buggy are too difficult for Mum to clip onto Pebbles’ harness. That is now solved and she went for a full circuit of our new drive to make sure she would settle happily and be safe. Now we just need to take her out properly, which will hopefully start tomorrow.
Love and woofs
Wilma
