Market Square
Yesterday Pebbles went to the market square in Warwick. Mum says she needs more hands so she can take pictures of Pebbles when they are out. It will be a while before Pebbles learns to stay still and wait while Mum takes a picture. For one thing she needs to understand what is dangerous and what isn’t and until that Mum will not be letting go of her lead.
Mum had to go to collect a jacket from dry cleaning, so took Pebbles for the ride. Then after she’d been to the shop she got Pebbles out and gave her a little walk around. Pebbles loved meeting people. A man sitting on a bench wanted to say hello and two ladies even went out of their way to come over and meet her. Pebbles absolutely loves meeting people. Mum is trying to encourage that as much as possible.
Not too busy
It wasn’t too busy, so was a good first experience of walking in town. There was some traffic, but not too much. All the tables aren’t set out yet in the market square outside restaurants, as it’s too cold to sit out. Mum says she will take Pebbles again regularly so she gets to see it getting busier and maybe then take her to one of the coffee shops that allows dogs.
Tired out
When she comes back from her escapades Pebbles always has some outdoor time. It helps her to unwind and makes sure she goes to the toilet before going inside. Mum has learnt that after all these new experiences she can guarantee that Pebbles will need a poo. Pebbles never lets her down on that score. I went out into the garden with them. Whilst we haven’t absolutely called a truce, as long as Pebbles is in the pen and I’m on the outside then we run round in circles together, which does us both good.
Other than the fact that she still doesn’t really like the car, Pebbles is doing quite well on her outings.
Love and woofs
