And back to the vet
And back to the vet I went. You just wouldn’t believe the run of luck I’m having with health. For reasons I couldn’t understand my sebaceous cyst burst again. Mum did her best to clean me up but said I was going to need antibiotics again. I only finished a course of them just over a week ago.
Anyway, I asked the vet what on earth is going on with my health as it really is getting ridiculous. She thinks it may be all connected with my thyroid. We have to wait to see if the medication I’m on makes a difference. That will be reviewed in another 5 or 6 weeks. Apparently if my thyroid stimulating hormone is not being produced correctly and leaving me with hypothyroidism then not only can it lead to dry eyes, but also stop my immune system working correctly and make it harder for my body to heal. This health stuff is complicated.
Fun Day
Tomorrow is our Club fun day. I’ve asked to stay at home. Mum is concerned she will be out longer than she likes leaving me and so has asked me to go with her but sit in the car. To be honest I really don’t want to, but if I stay at home Mum will be fretting the whole time. I’m going to talk to Dad to see if he can help. If he will go in a separate car then he can go a little later and come home a little sooner. That way I can stay here in relative comfort. I just don’t want to be around other dogs or cooped up in the car. To be honest at the moment, I just want to be left to do my own thing.
Pebbles, on the other paw, is ridiculously excited about her first fun day. Mum says she will have to stay on lead for all the activities, given her recall is so bad. But she’ll still have fun taking part.
Love and woofs
