Testing the fence
Today, Pebbles will be mostly testing the fence. Mum managed to use the wire fencing she’d got, together with some tacks and some string, to cobble a temporary solution together. It is not perfect, but then you could guess that from the use of string. String is not normally known as fencing material from what I’ve seen. Now Mum needs to have a proper conversation with next door about what they need to do to replace the rotten panels of their fence. It’s not somewhere they would see and they don’t have pets, so it probably isn’t as important to them.
The next job
The next job, which apparently I need to hold the ladder for, is Mum repairing the shed roof. She says it would have been a whole lot better if we did it before Sunday’s storms. At least being warm since then, the wood is drying out. I’m glad she’s getting around to it, as that’s the shed with all our spare things in it. Most of it isn’t things I need just at the moment, but some of it will be needed by Pebbles at some point. There are things like our whelping box and other necessities for when she has puppies.
I’ve already checked that the tub of spare balls is ok, so that’s one worry out of the way.
Hydrotherapy
Mum has rebooked my hydrotherapy that we had to cancel. She’s promised to try to make sure I go every week again. I’ve noticed my back right leg is weaker and if I don’t do something about it then I’m going to have a problem. I’ve promised to work hard when we go and Mum says as long as I do then she’ll pay for another package of sessions for me. I think my insurance will cover some of it, but not all.
Love and licks
