Trains
What is it with my humans and trains? Mum wants to drive a steam train. To be fair Dad has already done that, but would like to do it again. Around our garden there are signs on each of the sheds which are pretend railway signs. Now, they want to build a model railway layout in the garage.
Yesterday they went to a car museum. I was expecting them to come home talking about cars. Instead they were busy discussing their model railway. At the moment, everything is neatly packed away in boxes but apparently that may be about to change.
I shouldn’t really complain. If my humans are going to have any sort of hobby, it is much better they choose something where we are all at home together than they go out to other places. Mum has even said I can have a bed in the corner of the garage so I’m not left out.
Pebbles’ birthday party
In three weeks Pebbles will be celebrating her first birthday. Worryingly, she is having a birthday party here. Four of her brothers and sisters are bringing their humans with them. Given how crazy Pebbles is, can you imagine what it’s going to be likely with five lots of Pebbles here? I asked Mum if I could go to day care that day, but she says I need to be here. I will not be taking part. Given that I can’t cope with one Pebbles, there is no hope of me dealing with five of them.
We bought Pebbles’ birthday presents while we were away. She is having a new harness – that does up in three places around her body to make it impossible to escape. She is also having a collar with Swiss flags on it so she can appreciate her heritage. One day she will visit, but Mum says she needs to be a little calmer first.
