High Jump
Mum thinks that Pebbles should be entering a high jump competition. When Mum went to collect Pebbles from the kennels, Pebbles was so excited that she jumped right up and touched the ceiling of the reception for the kennels. She carried on jumping rather like a kangaroo and it was some time before Mum could actually say hello to her, or even guess what height her head would be at any particular moment. It then took one of the kennel staff to hold Pebbles down, while Mum put her harness on.
Good days and bad days
While she was in kennels Pebbles had good days and bad days for behaviour. Thankfully, they seem to have coped with her and still love her. Mum says from yesterday’s observations we don’t seem to be getting a great deal of benefit from the medication Pebbles is on. We need to get her settled back into a normal routine to really be able to tell. Mum spent quite a bit of time outside with Pebbles once they were back and to say that Pebbles was totally manic would be an understatement.

A bit of a moment
I had a bit of a moment while we were watching television. On the programme, first of all there was a doorbell. I was ready to react, but Mum and Dad reassured me and I settled down again. Unfortunately, then a smoke alarm went off on the programme. Well, that finished me off. My heart was racing, I was panting and trembling. In the end Mum had to take me out of the room and put me somewhere dark and quiet.
Mum wonders if I might be better not watching tv unless they can be certain there’s nothing which is going to upset me. Perhaps I should get Mum to watch things first to check they are ok before I try them.
