Now Mum tells me
Now Mum tells me I’m going to miss out on our Club’s agility fun day because of the course we’re going on. Why couldn’t she make sure things were on different days so I could do both? She says she didn’t set the date for the course and it’s more important that I go to that. I’d rather be going to see some of my friends. Besides which, how cool would a day of agility be? Mum doesn’t take me to things like that normally because she says she isn’t up to running round with me and she thinks I might get too excited. I’d love the chance to try though. Maybe she could walk round rather than run, that might help keep me calm too.
Anyway, I’m not getting the choice as the course is already booked.
Good weather
We need to make the most of the good weather. Mum says while it’s nice we still need to do a lot of gardening. That suits me. I rather enjoyed the sunshine yesterday, so some more days like that would be good.
Mind you, Mum is also starting to talk about Christmas. Now the nights are getting darker, Mum is wondering if it is too early to start putting up all the outside lights in the garden. She doesn’t have to call them Christmas lights, that way it won’t seem too soon. She says she really wants to get all the hedges done first so she can hang the long line of lights all along the hedge, without the risk of cutting through it. I guess that would be sensible!
I think I might ask to try a new walk today too. Of course, I may decide against that later, but for now it seems like a good idea.
