Quiet day
We had a quiet day yesterday. My leg was hurting really badly. It seems to be when I’ve been lying down for a while and then go to get up. I’d overdone it the day before, so Mum said it would be a day of gentle exercise. She also thinks I need to go to see our vet when I get home. Mum thinks I might need to start having injections for my arthritis, but to be honest, I’m not that keen on the idea.
Pet shop
We started the day with a trip to the pet shop to buy a few things ready for Pebbles. We found a pig that Mum said was like the one that was Alfie’s favourite toy when he was a puppy. It doesn’t so much squeak as oink when you press it. It kept making a noise as Mum held it before she got to the checkout desk. We got some puppy treats, a cuddly toy and some teething toys. Mum said it will be a good start and we do already have some at home too.
My mountain
I wanted to go up to my mountain for a walk. Mum said she doubted the weather would be very nice up there, but said we could go up just to see. As you can see from the picture – she was right. The cloud was at ground level and the snow was rather wet and horrible rather than nice and crisp.
We came back down the mountain and went for a walk at the lake instead. It felt a bit sad as normally now there would be a big ice rink, but there were problems building it and it had to be cancelled for this year.
Day out
Valeria is taking me on a day out today. She wants to show me the town her human comes from. We have never been there before, so it will be fun to go somewhere different. Valeria is coming in our car, so I had to tidy some of my things away to make room. I do love spending time with my sisters.
