Mum is insane
Mum is insane. It’s the only possible explanation. Pebbles asked if she could have a birthday party for her first birthday in October and Mum has agreed. Now, Pebbles has invited all her brothers and sisters and her birth parents to come and have a party with her. Can you imagine, five or six of Pebbles playing in our back garden? I am staying out of the way that day and will not be coming out for anyone. Pebbles on the other paw is already excited about the prospect and can’t wait to see them all.
Dad and I are betting on things like how many of them will go in the pond. Mum says she’s became rather more relaxed about that as long as we can get them back out safely. It’s a good job we don’t have any fish!
Blackberry fiend
It is funny how we dogs have different tastes for things – except fox poo, which we both like. Anyway, I’m more of an apple dog as you know. Pebbles has moved on from the plums and has now discovered a love of blackberries. We have lots of brambles in the back hedge and she is carefully going along eating the ones at a low level. Mum has said she needs to be careful not to get prickled, but to be honest I don’t think Pebbles feels pain.

Stitch
I still have a couple of stitches in my face that need to dissolve. They feel a bit uncomfortable, but not too bad. Mum doesn’t want to remove them for me as she says it’s better that they stay in place a bit longer. I don’t agree, but there’s not much I can do as I’m not great with scissors. I shall have to be patient until I see the vet for my vaccinations a week on Thursday. Hopefully if they haven’t gone by then I can ask the vet to remove them.
Love and licks
