A trip to Banbury
Today I have a trip to Banbury. If only I was just going to see the cross made famous by the nursery rhyme. Instead, I have to visit the eye specialist to see what he thinks is going on with my eyes. To be honest, they are so bad at the moment that the prospect of anyone poking around in them does not appeal. Mum has got some soothing drops to try to help and I don’t even want her to put those in, never mind my ointment. Paws crossed for some good news. I’d like it to be something really simple that the rest of us simply hadn’t thought of.
Extra training
Pebbles is off to her extra training class this afternoon. She had her usual puppy class yesterday and Mum conceded that she wasn’t as bad as she has been. I think that’s as good as the praise is going to get at the moment. What was interesting was how much Pebbles was flirting with a couple of the boys. Mum thinks it’s about her hormones. Pebbles will be six months old next week, so it’s entirely possible her season could start soon. That may help in some ways, but probably not in others! I didn’t have my first season until I was eight months old, so we’ll have to wait to see.
Garden time
I’m happy to say that Pebbles has had quite a bit of time out and about in the garden with Mum and so far she hasn’t gone in the pond. The longer it stays that way the better. Mostly she runs around like a mad thing carrying a ball, a stone or the ball thrower. Mum is having to be careful what garden tools are lying around as they are the other thing Pebbles tries to pick up. I wondered if she was going to have green paws like Aristotle, but it’s mainly because she thinks she shouldn’t have them so they’re fun to run off with.
Love and woofs
