Sweet and sour
Yesterday Pebbles had a sweet and sour day. Mum took her to training, which is always an interesting challenge. It’s enough trying to get Pebbles into the car without incident, without having to manage her once she gets out the other end.
One minute Pebbles was acing the exercises she was asked to do and the next she was headbutting Mum. She also tried to run off with her bed in a manic frenzy and totally flipped out at the sight of a horse wearing a blue blanket. Pebbles came back from class wired and asking what was next. Mum came back from class looking more than a little frazzled.

On the bright side
On the bright side, Mum collected Pebbles’ new medication on their way home from training and Pebbles started taking it at teatime. We haven’t seen any change yet, but according to the instructions we should see improvement within a week or two. Mum is hoping it is going to be sooner rather than later. Pebbles keeps asking to spend some time with me, but I want to see the improvement before I even try.
Working outside
Mum spent the afternoon working outside. I said I’d sit that one out as I was feeling a little tired. Pebbles was happy to keep an eye on things and at one point tried to stick her nose in the paint pot. I guess she’d only do it once, but Mum still didn’t think it would be all that much of a good idea. One side of the shed has now had two coats of paint, so just three sides left to go. Mum planted another five herb plants too, but there are a lot more of those as well. I guess it will be another outdoor afternoon as long as it doesn’t rain today.
