Birthday present
I like to think of it as my birthday present arriving a little late. In reality it is Mum’s present arriving a little early. Mum and I are having a camera to make it easier to do some videos about my life and about our breed. I will, of course, be the star of the show. Mostly Mum is hoping to be behind rather than in front of the camera. If things go to plan, then when we get our new puppy she will help me to illustrate a lot of points about our breed. We may do some of her just for fun as well. Mum has been meaning to do this for a while, but had found one reason after another not to get on with it.
Problem solving
Mum had said that she couldn’t really hold a camera and do things with me at the same time. That has been solved by getting a camera she can wear and, as long as we can work out the angle included in the photo, we won’t just get pictures of her feet – she’s good at that!
Another problem was how to edit the videos. The camera we’re getting has got software to help us do that. It also gets round her other concern which was where she was going to store the video files as they tend to be quite big.
Learning what to do
It’s going to take a little while for us to learn what to do. The camera was supposed to be delivered today, but as Mum is going out for a couple of hours and most couriers won’t accept my signature, it’s now coming tomorrow. When it does, Mum and I will have to start reading about how it all works and then have some practice goes with it. I can’t wait. Of course, I’ll share it all with you as I learn. I’m going to be a bit of a vlogging dog as well as a blogging one – how cool is that?
