The fencing has gone
The fencing has gone and I’m a happy dog. After over ten months, I can now get to all areas of my garden to patrol the boundaries and chase next door’s cats. You don’t realise just how much you are going to miss something like that until it’s forced upon you. Mum thinks the cats might be in for a bit of a shock. I’m hoping so!
Now Mum needs to get the mower out to start cutting the bits where the builders’ metal fencing was and then we can start thinking about turning that area into my play park. I have so many ideas.
Photo shoot
I had a photo shoot with Mum yesterday. It wasn’t with our new video camera. To be honest, Mum is being a bit slow at understanding what she’s supposed to be doing with that and I don’t want to interfere. No, this was ordinary photos because Mum had written a short piece for our Club newsletter on training a dog to use a ramp to get into the car. She wanted to show the different stages and for that she needed my help.
It went really well, including me stopping where she asked me too – part way up the ramp. I didn’t look at the camera as I didn’t want to walk off the edge of the ramp, but I did remember to smile while she took the picture.
Puppy visit
Tomorrow I’m going to visit Groot’s puppies. Ok, I’m not going to see them personally. With me struggling with the world Mum isn’t sure if I’ll be all right with it, but she and Dad are seeing the pups and I’m going with them. I’ll see how I’m feeling. I might go in if Groot doesn’t mind.
Love
