Zofingen

Yesterday my sister Valeria took me to Zofingen. I was a bit concerned when she said we were going to a town as I’m not really a town dog. It was beautiful. Much of the old town has little or no traffic, so you can walk around the cobbled streets quite safely. Everywhere you looked the buildings were painted in bright colours, with shutters and often with special patterns and pictures painted on them. Mum totally fell in love with the place. I liked it too and concluded that for a town it was pretty special. There weren’t many dogs around, but for me that is a good thing too. I did bark too much and Mum said she just has no idea what to do with me when I’m like that.

Heitenplatz

After walking around the town, we went to a park called Heitenplatz. It’s above the town and you can see for miles in all directions. You could see all the Alps in the distance and there where boards telling you which mountain was which, but it was too cloudy to work them all out.

The park is a very big open area surrounded by wooded areas. There is even a small animal park with deer and other animals that you can see.

I could completely understand why Valeria likes it here.

Feeling insecure

When we got back I was feeling a bit insecure. I think it was because I had to sit in the car for some parts and Valeria went with the humans on her own. I know it’s because I’m not coping with the world, but I suddenly felt all clingy and wanted to spend the evening being able to sit so I was touching Mum. Mum said she enjoyed the cuddling up too, so we were both happy.
