How does she do that?
I have to ask, how does she do that? Pebbles can take her own collar off. Her collar fits properly. It isn’t too loose. Neither Mum nor I have a clue how she’s doing it, but she’s done it twice now – though never when we’re watching. The first we know about it is when she’s swinging it around and hitting things with the metal tag that has her details on. Sadly, it’s the lovely collar which her dad sent her and she’s now also chewed the collar and removed and destroyed the little heart pendant which was attached. Mum utterly despairs of her. None of the others of us have ever removed a collar once, never mind twice and counting.
Growing fast
Whilst her collar should have lasted her a while, Pebbles is getting to the point of outgrowing the harness Mum bought for her. Mum needs to look through our bag of collars and harnesses to see what she can find. There is bound to be one in there to fit her. If there isn’t she’ll have to wait a couple of weeks. Mum is planning to buy one or two things when she goes to Crufts in March. For one thing she’s planning to bulk buy leads to solve the problem of Pebbles chewing them. The lovely lead that was Alfie’s first lead, and which we’ve all used at the start, is now completely coming apart. It isn’t going to last for any future puppies.
My eyes
I have been really suffering again since I saw the vet on Thursday. What the vet had to do has irritated my eyes and they’ve been very closed up again. I could barely see on Thursday evening and it wasn’t very much better yesterday. Paws crossed that today is a little better. I just hope my new ointment comes soon.
Love and woofs
