Garden Centre Visit
Pebbles had a garden centre visit yesterday. I know what you’re thinking – she’s been to the garden centre before, but this time was different. When she went before it was in her buggy. Yesterday she was walking round on her own paws. Mum kept her on a short lead to avoid her tendency to eat the plants. She also had to be watched to make sure she didn’t pull any of the displays over.
Pebbles being the dog she is had a great time. She met and made friends with lots of new people, including a lady in a mobility scooter. As always she preferred the men she met and totally fell in love with one poor chap.
All change
It’s all change at home too. Until now, Pebbles has always been either in her crate or pen in the garden room, when she’s not free to roam. However, she’s outgrown the pen. She’s really at the point where the risk of her jumping out is too great. Now when she’s not out and about she will either be in her small bedtime crate in the garden room, or a much larger crate in the utility. She’s having the one that used to be Aristotle’s. Mum has taped the sides together as she knows what we’re like for dismantling them.
It’s going to take Pebbles a bit of getting used to, but it will mean Mum can move back into her office to work and she’s looking forward to that. It also means my crate is moving from the office to where it’s been planned to go in the utility too. We were waiting for the builders to finish, but as that still hasn’t happened Mum has just given up waiting.
In the office there will be a lovely big bed for us to snuggle into, either on our own or together if I ever cope with that idea. We’re off to the dog field again this afternoon, so we’ll see how that goes.
Love and woofs
