Improving

I’m improving. Actually, things are going a lot better than either Mum or I thought they were going to. I’m fed up with the cone, but to be honest that’s really the worst of things. Obviously we need to see if it’s been a success. It has made me think that having the other eye done won’t be such a bad idea. Mum says we ought to have a gap between the two as I really need to do some more of my hydrotherapy and not miss too much of that.

I think Mum has my medication under control, but it is confusing having eye drops twice a day in one eye and three times a day in the other. Poor Mum has to think about all of it and now has Pebbles’ medication to think about too.

Pebbles is disappointed

Sadly, Pebbles is disappointed. She’d been so excited about going back to her Puppy classes from Tuesday this week. She’s missed her friends very much while she has been in season and before that when Mum was ill with Covid. Now the class is cancelled for this week because the weather forecast is for much too high a temperature to be outside in the open. Now she has to wait another week. She really isn’t very good at waiting.

The pond

The pond is looking very sad. The water level is going further and further down. Mum says she doesn’t want to fill it from the tap as it’s not a good use of water, but the way it’s going that means it will end up completely dry. I said that to Mum, but she says it will be quite some time before that happens. There’s still enough water for the birds to come down for a bath and a drink, and for the newts to have somewhere to live. At least for now.

Love and licks
