And relax – Sunday 31st August 2025

And relax

And relax. The party is over and Mum can now get the house straight ready for us going home. To be fair, I’d be happy to go home this morning so I can see the family members who are staying. Instead I’m looking after Pebbles to give Mum time to get the pen back up and running in the garden and all Pebbles’ things back in place. If she can, Mum is going to configure the pen slightly differently. It will mean it is very slightly bigger and hopefully also has less incentive for Pebbles to dig. At the very least, she will no longer be able to undermine the path she’s been merrily digging up.

Our next event

Our lives don’t stay quiet for long. The next event in our garden will be our Club’s breeding test. There is only one dog being judged and it’s one of Pebbles’ half sisters. We will be at home while it’s taking place, but we aren’t allowed to go out to cheer her on. We have to stay quietly out of the way for a couple of hours. I think Pebbles is hoping to see her sister afterwards, but I doubt that her sister will be quite so excited about it.

The week ahead

I’m looking forward to the week ahead. I shall be back to my hydrotherapy on Thursday, which will do me good. The only downside is that I’m also having my annual vaccinations and my injection for my arthritis. On the bright side, it does cut down the number of times I have to go to the vet. That definitely helps.

Pebbles is looking forward to her week too. She is now officially in the next class at training after passing her trial period. She has also asked Mum if they can start going on some longer walks and Mum is very happy with the suggestion.

Love and licks
