And they’re in
And they’re in. The lemons moved back into the lounge yesterday. Mum has turned the radiator down so they don’t get too warm and lose their leaves. They will be staying inside until the sooner of Mum sorting out replacing the greenhouse, so they can have heating or the last frost of the winter. I’m guessing it will be the latter. The greenhouse is a bit of a long term project.

It was a productive afternoon, but I was ready to put my paws up when we’d finished. We all knew what jobs Mum expected of us and were able to get on with them very effectively. One plant in the back garden is now optimistically wrapped up in fleece – we’re just hoping that Pebbles doesn’t take a liking to the fleece. In the front garden all the very young lavender plants are sporting little fleece covers and are ready to do their best for the winter.
An odd twenty four hours
It’s going to be an odd twenty four hours for me. I normally go out through the right hand door in the garden room, but it’s being taken away. It will come back again tomorrow, but in the meantime I won’t be able to go out that way. I’ve already been getting confused as to which was I should use to come back into the house. This is only going to compound the problem.
Mum has asked me which I would find easier, but it’s hard to know. I could go out through the garden room door that isn’t being taken away. I could go past Pebbles and out through the back door. On the one paw, I am familiar with the back door, but it’s only going to make me more confused when the usual door comes back. I’m going for the other garden room door, but there is one small problem. Mum says she will have to remove any spiders first as it hasn’t been opened for a while.
