Full-on

Pebbles is a bit ‘full-on’ was the verdict of the kennels. I did have to laugh and so did Mum. That is a very diplomatic description. I’ve known them since I was a puppy and get on very well with everyone. If they were expecting another dog like me then they were certainly surprised. They used to look after Alfie, Shadow, Megan and Aristotle too over the years and my friend Bernie, so it’s not like they don’t know our breed. What was lovely is that they also said how loving Pebbles is. And she really is. She has so much love to give, she just doesn’t always do it in quite the right way. They know dogs well there though, so were fully prepared to cope with her.

Home again

We are now of course home again. It was a good run in the car. Mum missed the turning we needed off the motorway but the sat-nav found us another route that was actually far nicer. I slept most of the way. As usual, pebbles didn’t so much as lie down once. She really is amazing. Mum left the tracker on Pebbles collar over the weekend. She really didn’t sleep well at all while we were away. I have no problem sleeping, but Pebbles came home ready to go to bed. At least it will give Mum a little bit of a lie in this morning.

It’s a catch up day when Mum gets up. At least that means she will be around with us and not off somewhere else. I think we’re moving my crate this morning, so I may need to lend a paw with that. I do hope I like its new location. To be honest, I feel a bit anxious about it. Paws crossed.

Love and licks
