Stop the pigeon
Pebbles is taking ‘Stop the pigeon’ too literally. Yesterday she caught one. Fortunately Mum was there and shouted her which provided enough distraction for the pigeon to get away minus some feathers. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but it was at least better than the carnage which was about to ensue. She’s the first of us since Shadow to manage to actually catch a bird – Mum wasn’t impressed – secretly I was!
Pebbles didn’t help her cause with Mum by running straight across the squash plants in the process. She’d already decapitated one of the sunflower plants, so it wasn’t a good day in the garden.
Bunting
I helped Mum and Dad put up the bunting around the outside bar yesterday. Mum had totally forgotten about it and then found it in the cupboard when she was putting something away. I said if she put things away more often she might find all sorts, but she wasn’t impressed by my comment. To be fair, Mum has had to get better at putting things away. If she doesn’t she finds that Pebbles has run off with them. Mum’s shoes are one of Pebbles favourites – along with dog beds, toys, and anything she can put in her mouth.
Fun Day
We were supposed to be at a fun day today learning some ‘dancing with dogs’ moves. Sadly it had to be cancelled, so now we’re twiddling our paws at home. Mum has promised to dance with us both later if we’d like to, but I said I’d rather just have a nice walk anyway.
The good news is that as my eyes are so much better Mum has booked me in to go swimming again. I couldn’t get a slot for a couple of weeks, but I’m actually quite looking forward to it.
Love and licks
