How not to play with a paddling pool

Today Pebbles would like to demonstrate how not to play with a paddling pool. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve tried to explain to her that there’s a clue in the name – paddling – she just won’t listen. To be fair, she has paddled in it, but on balance has decided that there are other ways to play with the pool that she much prefers. Being destructive is very high on her list of favourite pastimes. Along with – running into Mum’s legs, playing with her Boomer ball and barking at pigeons. It’s not possible for me to really describe this, so the best thing to do is watch the video and make up your own minds.

Happy Evenings

With Dad at home I do like my evenings. I sit next to him on the settee and get lots of cuddles and attention. Mum is often outside with Pebbles and I think I like those times best as I get Dad all to myself. Pebbles hasn’t mastered sitting on the settee. She doesn’t do relaxing. Perhaps she should watch me and Dad more as we’re both very good at it. I’m hoping we’re going to be doing that later, but first today has to be about a gardening sort of day.

I’m going to give that a miss and leave it to Pebbles to help Mum and Dad. Mind you I think the plan is to clear all the apples which are on the ground and I’m pretty good at that. Pebbles doesn’t like eating them so much, but she’s pretty good at running around the garden with them. Mum is trying hard to get the garden tidy and in shape, but the weather keeps getting in the way. If it’s not too hot, then it’s raining. There don’t seem to be that many days which she thinks are perfect for garden work.
