Model Railway
There is a lot of talk about a model railway in our house at the moment. On Friday, we got the official permission for the glorified shed that Mum and Dad want to put into the garden so they can play with their trains. The shed will be installed at the end of this month. Mum is busy planning the interior layout.
“Don’t forget my bed!” I said as she was drawing on a scrap of paper. The good news is that she hadn’t forgotten and is hoping I can have the spare big comfy bed underneath where the trains will run. I just hope they aren’t too noisy. It would be a shame if they got in the way of my napping.
Window seat
Mum is having a window seat, so she has somewhere to doze in the sunshine. She described it as somewhere to think, but I suspect that I’m closer to the truth. The one thing that may stop her dozing is that Pebbles has in mind sitting up on the window seat with her.
Anyway, they are joining the local model railway club and went to have a look around. The only problem is that it has made Mum go back to wanting to run a railway around the garden. She really wanted to do that when we moved in, but decided it would be too much work. Now she is back to thinking it would be fun. I can just see Pebbles now as a train driver! Perhaps I should see what I can do with her picture and AI.
On the bright side, if Mum and Dad are spending a lot of time on their model railway then at least they will be at home and that suits both me and Pebbles very well.
