GoPro Injury
Mum has sustained her first GoPro injury. I say first as past experience of working with Mum on projects makes me think it won’t be the last. All she was doing was fixing the flash on the camera! She’s impossible. Never work with humans, they can mess things up so easily.
She put the flash on the wrong way round and it got stuck. Then she had to use more force than ideal to take it back off. As it come loose, her hand shot back and hit herself in the face with the flash unit. She cut her knuckle – and I’ve still no idea how she did that, so both her hand and face were bleeding. I think her pride is bruised more than her face, but it’s a close run thing. Now she’s got the chest harness to try on – on herself, not me – what could go wrong?
Good news
We had some good news when I went for my annual vaccinations yesterday. I weighed in at 25.4kg including my lead and harness. I’m really quite pleased with that. The vet was impressed too. Now I just have to maintain it. My leg already seems to be getting a little stronger and I’m wanting to walk further, so we’re hoping that by the weekend I will be ready to make the most of all opportunities to be out and about.
I was a really good girl for the blood test I needed and for my main vaccinations. However, I still hate the kennel cough vaccine up my nose. Mum ended up wearing the vaccine because of how I shook away at the right, or in her eyes wrong, moment. The vet had to get another dose to give to me.
GPS tracker
I’m starting a new test of a GPS tracker. I’m not going to tell you too much about it yet, we’re just getting it all set up. Mum and I are going to sit down and discuss writing two or three pieces about the test so you have all the information. As a starting point, it is more comfortable to wear than the one Aristotle tried a few years ago and that is a good start.
