No crying
Pebbles went in the car with no crying yesterday. Mum came back very excited after taking Pebbles on her latest journey. It wasn’t a long journey, but it is the very first time that Pebbles hasn’t cried almost as soon as the car sets off. Mum knows it won’t all be plain sailing from here, but she’s very excited at the step forward.
Actually, Pebbles or Bitey McBiteface as Mum had called her the day before, had a pretty good day. She wasn’t as bitey as the day before, for which Mum was also grateful. Now however, she has really started to outgrow her indoor pen. It just isn’t high enough to contain her. Mum is going to give her more freedom but will have to keep an eye on her. It also means I will have to spend more time with her, which I’m not looking forward to.

Weekend plans
Now that most of our building work is finished, Mum and Dad are working hard to get the house completely straight. You wouldn’t think that was exciting for a dog, but you’d be wrong. For one thing our heating system works correctly for the first time since we moved in. Until now it just wasn’t possible to get all the house at the temperature we wanted. Either some rooms were much too hot or some rooms were much too cold. Now we’re all happy. The other good thing is that we will be having more trips out to places like garden centres and Mum is spending more time trying to get the garden straight. Most garden centres allow dogs, so it’s a bit of a win win.
Sheep
I nearly forgot, Pebbles met our local sheep for the first time yesterday. Mum took Pebbles on the lead up into the orchard. The sheep all lined up the other side of the fence to greet her. Pebbles didn’t take a blind bit of notice, which is probably for the best.
Love and woofs
