Worn out
One of us was worn out when we came home yesterday. To give you a clue, it wasn’t Pebbles. Pebbles was asking what was next. Mind you, she didn’t actually walk as far as I did.
It was lovely to see Salvo and Izzy. Salvo is such easy company. We all love seeing him. We all started to walk together. Pebbles simply would not leave us alone. If she stuck her nose up my butt once, she must have done it a hundred times. I didn’t enjoy the first time or any of the ones which followed. In the end, I asked if she could just walk in front of me where I could see what she was doing at all times. We managed quite a distance like that, but she would keep turning around and trying to climb on my neck.

Enough already
In the end, as she simply wouldn’t walk nicely, Mum turned around and walked back with her and left the rest of us to a much less stressful walk. Apparently, once she was on her own, Pebbles wasn’t too bad. She was finding it a bit warm and didn’t like it when vehicles approached from behind her. However, she did find she liked the taste of goose poo. There’s no accounting for taste!
We went back to Salvo’s house. Pebbles sat with Dad for a while and wanted to keep turning circles. Izzy wanted to play with Pebbles, but then Pebbles was finding it a bit much, so went to sit in the car. That at least meant we could have lunch in peace and quiet.
I’m not going to suddenly volunteer to go for walks with her on a regular basis, but it wasn’t as bad as I’d feared.
Love and licks
