Swimming
I’m really looking forward to swimming this morning. I know this might sound bad, but when I’ve had a day or two in kennels my coat doesn’t look it’s best and a good shower does it the world of good. It’s funny, when I was younger I would never have thought I’d be saying something like that. Shadow is looking forward to going too. Her hip has recovered well after overdoing it at fun day but she said she’d still like the chance of some swimming to get everything moving properly. It really does us the world of good. Both of us would be in much worse shape if it weren’t for our regular swims.
Wilma’s Disappointed
Wilma’s disappointed as her next trip to Switzerland has had to be cancelled. She’s sulking a bit really. Sadly our Mistress can’t be away just at the moment so she won’t see so much of our Master either, which makes her sad. Quietly, I’m quite pleased because I hate it when they go away. I like life to carry on with nothing changing from one day to the next as far as it’s possible. The most important thing for me is having our Mistress around as that makes me feel happy and safe.
Typical Entlebucher
Now that Wilma has learnt to play ball she really is a typical Entlebucher and wants to play every single day. Our Mistress is quite enjoying playing with her so I think they’re both pretty happy. Our Mistress says if she keeps playing a little bit every day on top of her walk then she’ll lose the extra weight she’s been carrying really quickly. Wilma proving herself to be dog most like her owner simply asked if she could eat more instead!
Well I’m off to pack my towel and dressing gown and sit patiently waiting for swimming time.

Hi Alfie, glad you are feeling brighter. I enjoyed the fun day but find it hard to cope with a lot of dogs at once. It was lovely to see your Mum and Shadow and of course Wilma. I had a brilliant day yesterday. I went to my training club and ran with Minnie and Innit. We had such fun, the sun was out too. It is always lovely to do something you really enjoy. It makes us feel so good. Enjoy your swim. Love to you all Dickens X
Alfie has gone for a sleep so it’s me replying. It was great to see you. I wish you had felt like coming and running with me. I just love running. I can run all day if I’m allowed to.
