Garden Time – Wednesday 31st March 2021

Garden time

Garden time has begun. I don’t mean the clocks have changed, I mean it was finally warm enough for Dad to sit in the garden and have a cup of coffee with Mum. He still had to go back to his tower, but it was a nice break for everyone. We are now starting to plan all the things we’re going to do together from Friday onwards as long as he can come out. Mum is even trying to find the courage to start going out a little bit again. She only wants to go for walks but that will be wonderful. I just can’t wait. She says given she’s ill, she may not be able to go far, but anything will be appreciated.

I’m a lucky girl

Look what I was given yesterday. It wasn’t my birthday or for any special occasion. Mum said it was just because I’m lovely and deserve to be spoiled. Of course, she’s right but it seems unfair that she got one for me and not for the others. I said I felt bad about it to Aristotle. He pointed out that I’m generally the one who is most untidy with my toys, so there might have been a reason behind it. I prefer to simply think I’m special.

Unwanted wildlife

The whole wildlife feeding might have gone a bit wrong. We have some unwanted wildlife in the garden too. Mum is really very upset. She had the same problem when she got a hedgehog house. Years ago Shadow would have dealt with things for us but she’s not so fast now. Mum also worries in case they have picked up poison anywhere. Hopefully things can be resolved amicably and they can be moved on without incident. Mum’s put out signs saying ‘No rooms to rent’. It should do the trick.

Love

Wilma
