Why oh why? – Thursday 13th May 2021

Why oh why?

Why oh why are humans not more like dogs? On this occasion it is the odd human tendency to keep absolutely everything in case it comes in useful. You just know what’s going to happen. Your humans keep useful stuff. They then buy a cupboard to put the useful stuff in. When they come to move house they realise all the stuff wasn’t quite so useful after all so they finally throw it out and see if anyone needs a spare cupboard. Then they move house and start the whole process all over again. Dogs – we live for the moment. For one thing we don’t tend to have cupboards and I think that helps.

Today in that process is the going to the tip day. If it would stop raining there would be a giving things away day too. I would just like to make clear none of my stuff is going to the tip or being given away – mainly because I don’t have so much stuff!

Zoom calls

I did another Zoom call last night. I’ve upped my fee to a whole long chew. I did push my luck and tried asking for more, but I found the point Mum would not go beyond. I’ve done around sixty calls in the last year so I’m quite pleased that Mum has said we might be able to go back to normal meets again now. The best thing about that is that I can share the workload with some of my friends and will only meet people in our area.

Dad says there is one walk for me to do, which I’m quite looking forward to. I’m planning to take them to the lovely disused airfield I like walking on. It’s always good to be able to show people some of my favourite places. I’m going to miss it when we move.

Love

Wilma
