Presents for Aristotle

Mum bought presents for Aristotle yesterday. To be fair there was something for me, but that went a bit wrong. For Aristotle there were some more herb plants to add to his garden. He was very happy to add tarragon and two types of thyme. Mum helped him move the sorrel that had disappeared under the borage as well. For me there was a pretty flowering plant to sniff. It had four flowers on it when she bought it. Unfortunately it fell over on the way home in the car and there were no flowers on it when it arrived. Dad says it will grow some more, but as gifts go it did look a little forlorn.

On the bright side

On the bright side I do at least get to eat. Mum has broken the news to Ari that for his scan tomorrow he can’t eat before he goes. Usually that’s not too bad as it’s in a morning and he’d only miss breakfast. His scan isn’t until lunchtime, so he won’t get breakfast or lunch until after it’s all over. I don’t want to say too much as Mum is telling me I need to go back on my diet as I’m gaining weight again. It’s all the foraging I do. I know that, but I can’t help myself. Because there are so many foraging opportunities in the garden, Ari will be going out on a lead tomorrow morning so he can’t make up for missing his meals.

Growing

It’s not just me that’s growing. You should see how everything in the garden is developing after having some rain. To be honest it’s all going a bit wild. I feel right at home, but Mum and Dad are finding it frustrating trying to keep up. No sooner has the grass been cut than it needs to be cut again.

Love
